I painted a chicken leg on the waves as the painting's easter egg and hoped no one would notice.

 

This somewhat "nonsense" idea came from a recollection that had been floating about in his head at the time - a memory of a crush in middle school that revolved around a chicken leg. The chicken leg represents that memory and the feeling associated with it. As for the memory, it was not a really dramatic story but it was the best memory in his life. That memory is so special because of that moment so the best method to commemorate or release it is to hide it in this picture for me.
